Pending Requests
When someone requests to join your site as a friend, you approve their request to join on this page. The type of account you have determines what type of members you can have - i.e. the Standard account has Friends - the Family account allows Family AND Friends, the Group account has general members.

Site Manager > Members > Pending Requests

To approve Pending Requests for new members to your site, go to the Site Manager > Members > Pending Requests page:

Once you are on the Pending Requests page you will see any new requests that are pending your approval. If there are no pending requests you will see a red text statement saying there are no pending requests.

In the example above my wife has asked to join my site so I see her information (see screenshot above). I can adjust the site wide Permission level for her to be one of the following:

Admin: This is the highest level of permission. It gives the person the same account rights as you. They are not limited in anyway and can do anything to the site they want. Use this level of permission for only when you completely trust the person.

Contributor: This level of permission allows the person the ability to modify any album in your site. Permissions for this level allow the person to make new albums, modify any album or any photo in any album - including deleting albums or photos. We generally recommend using Album-by-Album level permissions (defined under each album on the Album Manager > Album Controls > Album Settings page) versus site wide permissions unless you fully trust the person to make global changes across all of your albums.

View Only: This level of permission is the default level and is the safest to use. It allows the person to view any public album in your site. When you set a member to this level you can still allow them to contribute to a specific album by using the Album Manager > Album Controls > Album Settings page and selecting the person as a contributor to that specific album. For all other albums the person can only view the album - but for the one you grant specific permission for - they become a contributor.
