Select Slideshow
Slideshows allow you to select creative ways to show off your photos in a large interactive player. Slideshows come in a variety of styles that can be changed on-the-fly for any of your albums. Each album can have its own slideshow.

Album Manager > Presentation Controls > Select Slideshow

To select which slideshow is applied to your album go to the Album Manager > Presentation Controls > Select Slideshow page:

Once you're on the Select Slideshow page you will be able to select from the different styles that are available:

Use the slideshow category menu to view the different styles of slideshows that are available:

To apply a slideshow to the album you are working with, click the Apply button under the slideshow of your choice:

After clicking the Apply button you will see a gold star appear next to the name of the slideshow. You will also see the border around the slideshow turn gold. This indicates that the show is the on selected to play with the album you are working with.

To preview a microshow before you apply it to your album, click on the Preview link under the show you're interested in:

When you click preview you will see an example of the slideshow playing in the browser window:

Slideshow Controls
Most of the slideshows have the same universal set of controls shown below:

The viewer watching the show can change the speed of the show, advance the photos back or forward manually, pause and play the show, choose the style of transition that is applied to the photos as they play and click on a thumbnail photo to go directly to a photo that look interesting.

When the viewer moves their mouse over the show the control slides up from the bottom and is available for use. When the user moves their mouse off the show the control slides back down and is hidden.

Using The Soft-Crop Feature
Each slideshow uses different graphics and in some cases different methods to display the photos in an interactive manner. Most of the slideshows have been designed to fit using standard 1.33 and 1.5 ratios.

As a result of these differences, you may find that you need to soft-crop your photos to make them fit your slideshow. A soft-crop is a non-destructive cropping system developed by Pixplug to allow you to crop your photos for different slideshows and not alter the original image or take up extra space in your account. The images are virtually cropped to fit your needs.

At the top of the slideshow page you will find a button called Soft-Crop Photos:

When you click this button you are able to view all the photos in your album and crop them to fit the dimensions of the show you have selected. The crop tool is constrained where it will always scale up or down to fit the show you have selected. All you have to do is grab a corner handle on the crop tool and move it in or out and position it where you want it to be on your photo.

Step One: Select the photo by clicking on the small example of the picture.

Step Two: Adjust the crop by moving the corner handles

Step Three: Click the Apply button after cropping each photo. If you don't click the Apply button on each photo, the crop will not be applied to the photo you just worked with.
