Use Custom Logo
The Premium and Professional account membership allows you to put a custom logo on your site where you see the Pixplug logo. This is useful when you want to brand your site with your own logo versus ours.
Site Manager > Site Settings > Use Custom Logo
Only members who are signed up with a Professional account are shown this page. On this page you can download Photoshop Logo Template, put your logo into the template document and then upload it using the form on this page. Here are the steps to do this:
Step One: Go to the Site Manager > Site Settings > Use Custom Logo page of your site.
Step Two: Look for the blue link that says Download Photoshop Logo Template Here and click on this link:

After you click the link you will see a download file window appear:

Click the Save button and then download the file to your computer and open it in Photoshop.
Step Three: We designed the template with the font Arial which is found on most Windows computers. If you don't have this font installed on your system Photoshop may prompt you to replace the font or may warn you that the font is not available on your system. This is fine if this happens as you can easily select the type and change it to another font. The template is simply a guide that helps you save your logo out at the right size or type in a name that will appear well across all themes in our system.

In Photoshop all you have to do is select the type and change it to whatever you want it to say. We have used a Layer Effect in Photoshop to give the logo a slight drop shadow effect. You can apply whatever type-face and effects you want. It is really a personal choice you will need to make when designing your logo to fit the Pixplug site.
When you are done save it as a .PNG with transparency. You need to keep the document size the same (30 pixels (h) x 235 pixels (w)) when you save it out. We recommend using the Save for Web feature in Photoshop and selecting PNG / 24 bit / transparent.
We recommend you keep the name of the file the same, although you can rename it to anything you like so long as the name is web ready meaning that it has no spaces or special characters in it.
Uploading Your Custom Logo
When you you saved your custom logo out as a .PNG with transparency and are ready to upload it, go to the Site Manager > Site Settings > Use Custom Logo page and click the Browse button:
![]()
Select the logo file you have customized and then click the Apply button:

Go to your homepage to see how the logo looks on your site and make sure it works well with the site theme you have selected. If you plan on sticking with a specific site theme you can customize the logo you upload to use colors and effects that compliment the site theme.
If you ever want to revert your site back to using the Pixplug logo click the Use Default Logo button and then click Apply:

Custom Logo Requirements
The custom logo must be saved in an RGB color space at 30 pixels (h) by 235 pixels (w) and saved as a .PNG / 24 bit file format with Transparency turned on. You can use our template as a starting point or create your own graphic so long as these requirements are met.
